Broiler Meal
Lamb Patties      Paprika Potatoes,
Peacherinos

Lamb Patties

1 pound ground lamb
1 t. salt
1/4 c. milk
4 strips bacon
Toothpicks

Combine lamb, salt and milk. Form 4 oval patties. Mark top with knife handle. Circle with bacon, anchor ends with toothpicks.

Paprika Potatoes

Use small potatoes, potato balls or cubed potatoes cooked until tender but not soft. Miter corners of piece of aluminum foil (2 thicknesses if foil is light weight) to form a basket. Place on broiler rack; fill with potatoes. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and paprika.

Peacherinos

Fill canned peach halves with currant jelly.

How to Broil the Meal:

Place patties and peaches, cut side up, on broiler rack. Place potatoes in aluminum foil basket on rack. Broil 2" from heat, turn meat after 10 minutes. Broil another 10 minutes. Total broiling time 20 minutes. Serves 4.

Serve a green vegetable, which you may place under the broiler rack to heat while this meal is cooking.  Use a cooked or canned vegetable for this.

For desert? How about the gingerbread we made last week.
